Logic X Capture Last Take/Multiple Takes
Greetings... Can someone please tell me how to deal with multiple takes in LX, since the look & procedure seems different from L9? I'm clear about capturing the last take, but as far as Multiple Takes, how do you choose which portions you want to keep? Thanks

You can simply swipe over each take on the portion that you want in the audio and it will be comped to the main part. This is the new quick swiping technique to use with the multiple takes. Its so easy to use and is such a time saver. As I see that LX requires a 64-bit computer, I won't be going to it until I get a new computer (in October), so can't load it up and check out what you're talking about. But, Gary, your description of the "new" comping feature sounds remarkably like the "old" version in my clunky old Logic 9. Isn't that how comping works in 9, you just drag over the portions of each track you want to use? What am I missing?

Yes, that is true. It is the same as L9. But it looks more clearer now in LX on the main audio part with the audio takes and comping.

I looked at your picture, and you're right. It does look morer clearer. ;-) But I'll just have to wait until I get that new computer... You guys work out the bugs for me, and I'll get it next month once X.0.2 has been released...
