Routing a track to another channel strip
Hi, I have been trying to route 2 tracks in the arrange window to the same channel strip as explained in the 150 th video in mastering logic 8 tutorial but they start acting weird when this is done. The files in one of the tracks either cant be heard at all or if its a 2 bar loop the file in one track is heard during the first bar and the other in the second bar. What is wrong?

This behavior is normal because you can't play two audio tracks routed to the same channel at the same time. In the video, you can see that there is no audio regions playing at the same time. However, this is possible for MIDI/Software Instrument. This can be useful with drum programming where you would place the kick, snare, hi hat on a different track routed to the same instrument.
