    Master track automation
Hi - I've transitioned from GarageBand to Logic Express and I can't figure out how to automate overall song (ie all tracks together) volume to accomplish, for example, a full fade out. Would I do this through enabling a Master Track in some way, or is there another process? I'm just bouncing rough draft mp3s right now to get friends' opinions on the song. Perhaps there is a Mastering mode that I need to use, or am I missing an Arrange window setting or something? I started this song by just adding tracks to an Empty Project. Thanks.

    Re: Master track automation
Hi Mkr Welcome to Logic ;-) In the Arrange create a master Output 1-2 track (this is like the Master Track in GB). You can create any track and then ctrl-click on it to reassign it as Output1-2. You will then be able to automate it as you would any other track. Press A to bring up the quick automation and away you go. Let us know if you need more help.
