Hi K1 There are ways of affecting the sound and creating rhythmic patterns using side chain techniques. Have you seen the Logic 303 TNT videos for December? In fact Sidechaining has so many uses during the mixing process to help create more space in the mix, tieing the kick and bass together and there are plenty more creative things you can do too! Hi, There is also the new Delay Designer plugin which offers 26 individual taps delay and will let you create rhythmic patterns. As Rounik told you, there are so many ways to use Side Chaining to create rhytmic FX. For example, it is possible to use side chaining with the ES2 to control a a parameter. Check out video 30 of the ES2 tutorial for more on this.
