I have NI Strummed Acoustic 2 and am unable to use the separate bass line function. Reading the manual, it sounds like this is only available when using a Komplete Kontrol keyboard. Is that correct? My system is Logic Pro 10.4.8, iMac High Sierra, Arturia keylab 61. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Notacai - I had a look at the manual, and I don't see anything in there that would suggest that the separate bass line feature is exclusive to any particular keyboard controller -- I was left with the impression that it's probably a scripting function that should work with MIDI notes from any controller. That said, I don't have the plug-in here to check out, but if it's not working for you my guess would be that it could be due to some setting (maybe in the Chords/patterns area) you'd have to make within the plug-in to enable it, or that the feature might only be available with *some* patterns, the ones that have the little bass clef icon..?

Do you still need help with the separate bass feature? I just tried and I was able to use is. You have to make sure that the Auto Chords is off and select a pattern with the Bass clef icon. You do not need a Komplete Kontrol keyboard, but it's useful to see which notes can be used as bass notes. I hope it helps!
