    can I just switch bays... I currently have my operating system in Bay #4... can I just physically move the hard drive to Bay #1?

    I believe it's possible. Don't have a Mac Pro to try this out on right now... Do refer to the Apple Manual that came with your Mac Pro or you can find it here: [url]http://support.apple.com/manuals/[/url]

    If I plan on restoring my apps from Time machine, and want to have a clean install of snow leopard and logic should I be deleteing logic7 before I do a final back up with time machine before reinstalling my operating system? currently listed in my apps logic node logic node 9.0.2 logic Pro logic Pro 7 logic Pro 9.0.2

    Hi Jeff, Restoring your pro apps with Time Machine (or using migration assistant) is not recommended. It kind of bypasses the point of doing a clean install ;) Backup your personal files and projects and of course any settings and preferences you'll need - but install Logic 7 and 9 direct from your installation discs and then follow the software updates as needed. :) Rounik
