I've noticed recording audio, the playback levels are much less than what is shown when monitoring the recording. I have the same problem with microphones and a direct input guitar. Motu 828mkII converter, input into Presonus eureka with spdif out to the Motu. Any thoughts for a begginer? Arch

Yes, I do have the software monitoring turned on. Will software pluggins affect the actual monitored level in the channel strip? Should I try to set levels prior to adding pluggins? Thanks again Arch

HI I've been importing midi files from a band in a box project. I've done this numerous times without any issues. However, lately the midi controller data is controlling Logic. i.e. any mixing done in Logic will be reset to the imported midi file every time the project is restarted. I guess my question is: is there a setting in Logic which keeps it from overwriting the midi data on the imported midi file. (keep in mind my level of midi knowledge is basic) Thanks Arch

Hey can i put a 44.100 file in a 192.0 project and does the sample rate work with midi also? What is the bit depth in logic an d what does the do? What is the best sampling rate to run at?

I have logic installed on a power mac and i just got a mac book pro and i want to put logic 9 on it. So i was wondering how many times i can install logic? Because if i can only install it 2 times them my power mac crash's i can reinstall logic.
