Hi Shane, It's easy....but undocumented. If you have three virtual instruments in a patch and you want to reorder them do this: Select the fader you want to appear first in your order and press (Command D) -it's in the edit menu under duplicate. Now you have two faders of that instrument. Continue doing this with the other instrument faders in the order you desire. When the mixer has three instruments channel strips with the correct order, delete the out of order duplicates. Your keyboard layers will change order visually as well. It's a good idea to re-listen to these reordered layers before you go buck wild with your whole set, to make certain the patch still sounds and behaves as expected...... All Good bb

Hey, no problem.....shift select all of your pro tools stems in the browser. Drag them into the Arrangement window of a live set. Visually confirm that all 32 tracks are perfectly aligned at the region start. Switch to the Session View with the tab key and confirm that Warp is 'off' on all 32 tracks. Turn on the metronome. Play the track and click drag the tempo field until the metronome matches the track as exactly as possible. That should be the tempo of the song. Hope that helps.... bb

Hi, does the "tempo" in your original PT session also match the song tempo? You can record 178 bpm speed metal into a session thats set to 52 bpm in PT and the song itself will still be in 178. You can use your ears to double check all this. Open your Live set, the one that has the metronome in sync. Start playback. Then in the Live browser, go to one of the original PT tracks and select audition. Make sure RAW is selected. It should be playing back exactly in sync, (from a different start point of course) as the currently playing Live set. Hope this helps......bb

Hey Andy, One way you could attack this would be to load Stutter Edit, memorize one of their more unique generator patch names and then search for that name in quotes in Win 7. Surely that should lead you right to those tables. If you find them post the location for other pc guys! Thanks Bill Burgess

Thanks Andy for snooping this out on Windows. Like Andy says... This isn't supported by iZotope. Not every file works. Keep your speakers low if you like them. Don't wear headphones while testing this if you value your ears. The file name has to be exactly the same as an existing iZotope factory wave table. When it works it's an amazing and unique personalization of a very interesting and musical app. Thanks Andy

I wouldn't worry too much about upgrading....I've run at least 6 beta versions of 10 before it came out and now I have the released software. Things are very stable. It's great software. I run a Apogee Symphony 32 channel card and a Rosetta 800 w no problems. The Ensemble is more fussy in general but Apogee is great about updating it's drivers so you may want to check that first.... I like Snow 10.6.8 and that's were I'm staying. When I do go to Lion I will build a new machine entirely up alongside my working system. In the event that I don't have new iron, it will be like our boy Rounik says: Carbon Copy Clone my good system as a fallback position and a clean install of Lion and PT, Logic, Live, Waves on a new startup drive
