Here are some suggestions for new Logic Pro videos: * In-depth with Logic's Sample Editor and Score Editor. * Arranging and recording pop string parts in Logic Pro. * Arranging and recording orchestral instruments in Logic Pro.

Arpeggiator

Steve, Great new TNT series! Just wondering if there is a way to arpeggiate an LP9 virtual instrument using a plugin? I know you can arpeggiate the MIDI input using an arpeggiator object in the environment, but that seems pretty limited. What do you use to arpeggiate your synths? Thoughts? Thanks, ERO

Ok, "multiple arpeggiators with delay lines", and "advanced arpeggiators"... perhaps you could use one of your new TNT's to illustrate these ideas? I'd love to see more about how you use them. Thanks, ERO

October 2010 TNT

Steve, This is a great TNT... just wondering about file types. I usually record using broadcast wav format because it saves time stamp data in the audio file. So my question is: do .wav (and broadcast wav) files save tempo, marker, and sample rate info like aiff files? Will all your examples in the October TNT work using .wav files? Thanks, ERO

You could use any orchestral sound library for this. Steve H: How about producing a video or two showing how to use MIDI in Logic Pro? How to arrange for small string and horn sections? How to create realistic sounding string parts with MIDI? How to use expression, portimento, sustain pedal, etc. to achieve realism...
