I am trying to make a 30 minute house mix on logic, i don't know how to change the tempo of one song to match the others so it stays on beat. do i need to adjust regions too? if so how do i do that? im new to all of this. Can someone walk me through step by step on how to do this. thanks.

haha i totally screwed my name up on here, sorry! I am using logic 9, and i do know the two tracks bpm. One of them is 125, the other 127. However, there will be multiple tracks in this mix ranging from 125-127.

Amazing, i just glanced at section 4 of 101. One more question should complete the whole understanding. In the section it counts the beats of the audio loop that they uploaded onto the arrange (4 bars). Then set regions to locators so that it plays with its range. I totally get that, although, is there a way to depict how many bars an audio file is without counting (for simplicity, I don't really want to count bars for 6 minutes long for one audio track), then count again for another audio track etc... Thanks a ton!

haha sweetness! I changed both tracks so they are running at 125 bpm. The first track I had to use flex time on so that there were 4 beats to every bar. After i did that, the other tracks followed automatically as soon as i changed the bpm. is this the correct way of doing it? or was that sort of the long way out? cheers!

I have been searching the internet for several days now on how to properly layer kick drums, and use the high frequency of one and low frequency of the other to make the perfect sound. Unfortunately there is no valuable information out there. my question is twofold; 1. Can you explain how the high, low, and mid frequencies work on logic/where they are found so i can adjust them accordingly (I am fairly new to this program). 2. How do you, or how should you properly layer a kick drum to get a beefier sound? Cheers!

Thanks for the reply! You cleared everything up, I knew how to find and use the EQ and the high cut filter/low cut filter. I guess you answering my question made me realize that i should be looking for better samples. most of my kick drums blow! if you could explain how to layer a kick with a sub sine wave that would be great. Also, is there anywhere i can find some good 808s/909s etc. cheers
