I want to automate a delay insert on a midi track to turn on in certain parts of a song, and off in others. I have tried write enabled recording, and turning it off and on, but that doesnt work, and i cannot figure out how else to do it. Is there a way to automate insert functions manually by drawing in functions, or at least by write recording and performing the function while the song plays? I was able to do this easily in reason, but I haven't been able to figure it out in cubase.
