Basically I just want to cover a song. I tried several times to mix vocals into an instrumental track but with no results. So there is a way to mix my vocals into a pre-mixed instrumental track?

I'm using Logic Pro 9. Condenser Microphone: Rode Nt2-a Audio Interface: Tascam US-122 MKII I didn't take a look at these tutorials. I'm sure it's not about the mic or audio interface because the vocal tracks sounds good, but it's like they don't fit with the instrumental track. It's like the instrumental track and the vocal track are playing separately. However I will take a look at these tutorials that you linked me.
