Hello Friends, I have a little problem to solve in Ultra Beat Logic 8. When i import sounds in Ultra Beat Osc 2 window i unfortunately can't access in the starts and end points of the file imported. I have a text below the sample window wich says sample start via velocity but i can't change it to make appear the sample starts points ... Am fighting since yesterday ! ... If anybody have an idea. First Thanx Rounik for your quick reply :) Am using Logic 8 Version 8.0.1 Yes i see the Blue Max and Green Min Rectangles on the left of the window of Osc 2. But me i want instead find the start and ends points pointers to adjust manually and not using velocity. I can't get rid of these rectangles and replace them with the pointers like in Steve Horelick's tutorial ... wich is very good BTW. How to do it ? You want the truth ? ... During the tutorial i've succeeded and had appearing the start and end points cursors in my Logic 8 in Ultra Beat ... I didn't dream, am sure i can make them appear again ... Hello Steve and Rounik, Thanx you're very nice to reply me so quickly. But yes i don't want to use the velocity to control the sample starts and end points. I would love to find again the arrows to manually set the sample starts points in Ultra Beat Osc 2 Window in Logic 8. I already did it with following Steve tutorial and now every time i open Ultra Beat i don't know to access to this feature. Rounik told me it was a feature in Ultra Beat Logic 7 only, am sure i did it once in Logic 8 ! ... Or i dreamt ? ... :) Waiting a reply of Steve Thanx in advance Olivier aka OB.one

Hello Sir Horelick, After having watched the lesson on arpeggiators August 2007 and the one of March 2008 with Ultra Beat i was wondering if there is a way to control Cable Switcher via midi notes (create a midi sequence) so we can use different kind of arpeggiators triggering Random Mute Function in Ultra Beat ? ... It would go then even further in the ramdomless ! ... not to mention the addicted effects for the ears ! ... :) I have Fun Olivier aka OB.one

Hello Steve and Happy you love my question ! I've been trying to figure it out but i have little knowledge about midi and controller. Here's what i would love to do : I would love having the possibility to trigger the cable switcher via midi notes and record the trigger notes on the Cable switcher track in Logic. C3 for Arp Off, D3 for Arp 1, E3 for Arp 2 etc ... I've been able to assign the cable switcher to modulation controller or one of my knobs on my oxygene 8 keyboard but unable to record the midi data, it only works in real time like the mouse and only trigger a "On" and "Off" not more than 1 Arpeggiator ... And it's not even what i would love to realise ... So am really far at the moment ... I don't even know if it's possible ?!? Am waiting for your reply ... I have fun, sometimes a lot ... sometimes less ... :) Olivier aka OB.one
