Hopefully someone here has an answer or can direct me to what the Tutorials didn't cover. On e-mail response, said come here. I have a Roland FC-300 Midi Foot Conroller and can't seem to get the two to communicate. I'm not sure what Mainstage needs from the FC-300. It seemed like something was trying to connect for a second. What I'm trying to do is be able to change patches in the sets and use the Perform to control effects from the FC-300. I've been through both tutorials not a mention of a foot controller. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by and maybe there is a better spot on here about Mainstage

Try re-setting the "Audio Units". To save a patch using a 3rd party plug-in first make a duplicate then you will be able to rename it to save it. Works for me! Hope it helps someone.

Hi, I have tried every conceivable way to get this to work. I am getting Nothing on Software Return in Apogee nor am I getting any Output from logic to my Studio Speakers brand new. input is sketchy at best. All work fine with NED, ITunes and DVD's etc.. I followed all of the steps even to re-booting and I still get no sound from the Microphone. I am using an SMS58 with 48 Phantom On and I tried it off. I have 2 mics and have tried both and both work elsewhere. I have been with Logic since 8 and know my way around pretty good. I have re-checked all of the areas and can't seem to get anywhere. Any help would stop me from regressing here and losing time. All cables have been tested and work fine. I haven't left anything out that could be tested. Didn't think setting up a microphone channel would be so trying and frustrating. Using Lion 7.2 MacBook pro 8gig. Thank anyone for help!

Hi and thanks for the help and suggestions. I discovered why it was although this may or may not sound right. When I selected the add new audio channel I chose mono. Finally when I changed the channel strip to stereo it began to work. I'm really not sure how that happened or worked. But what to do if you just want "mono"? I wasn't able to get "mono" to work and produce sound from the microphone. Just accept stereo? What about other mono items that might want to be recorded as mono? Thanks again everyone!!! Does anyone know where the "Apple Quicktime Synth" went to in LP9 Environment window? All I have where it used to be under -Internal - is Rewire. Quicktime Synth is gone? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading this.

Hi, thanks for the reply but I found it. It does still exist. O'k this is how I found it in 64-bit mode. When in the environment the only one I have under Internal is ReWire. After you choose Rewire then go back to the Arrange window. On the left side the Arrow below the Midi says Rewire. When you open it wall there is Quicktime. Thanks for the input Rounik. Maybe you'll find it to :-) It took awhile of researching and making sure that I had the ProUpdate available for Logic 9 then I discovered where they hid it. Hi all! Once again another issue. I tried 64-bit and 32-bit mode. I unistalled the original driver for the update to 10.7 which it says its for on the site. I then uninstalled it then re-installed the original and then back again where I am now. All with no "input" or keyboard recognition in the environment or the program. I have 8g of memory on MacBook Pro and this didn't appen before the 1O.7 update all was copacetic. There isn't anywhere I havent checked or much I haven't done including trying Garage Band etc.. I have searched everywhere for an answer. I get no "input" at all. I tried another cable also. I have followed and re-did too many things to count. The Edirol isn't even showing up in the Editor as being there at all nor is it in the list Logic Pro gives you. Any help would be great as this is getting very annoying. Hi again! Well after some more hours of searching I finally see MIDI input in Logic but still no Audio and something else. In the Library of Logic you see the keyboard listed which I never saw before. How I got here. I uninstalled the update from Roland. >>>BUNDLES< do not work with Lion or 10.7 O S systems. So I found this PCR_USBDriver107.pkg
