I am working with a Midi event that contains approximately 30 notes. What I am trying to do is create a separate event for each note and then export each individualt event. Possible to do with out manually editing each note? I want to say I saw one of your videos covering something like this but cannot find it. Thanks

I am currently using Cubase 6 to record, mix, and master. I also have access to Wavelab and Halion 4, which I have not yet used. Very general question but is it worth it to learn how to use this software if I am only a home user, or is what is already bundled in Cubase enough? Will these ever be covered by Macprovideo?

I am looking to compress a quicktime movie via FC Express, but for some reason it keeps getting 'squished.' The original file is letterbox and seems like the black bars get twice as bix upon export. Here are my settings: max 1100, 640 x 360, AAC, 44.1, 128. This is the same ratio as the original file. Any ideas as to why it's eporting funky??? Any input is MUCH appreciated.

FCP newbie working on a few projects. For some reason one project I am working on is not importing audio properly. Upon import into the timeline the file shows no waveform, the only thing I can edit is the length of the file. Thought it might be a format issue, but importing the same audio file into other projects and I have no issues, see the waveform, fade handles, etc. Any ideas on what the issue may be? Thanks

Just bought MAudio BX5A's to use with my Mac MBox mini PT8 setup. When looking to listen to iTunes library, I have the monitors hooked into my headphone jack. Is there a better way? As far as gain levels go should I have the speaker volume at 50% and keep the itunes/mac leves high or vice versa? Does it make a big impact on the sound quality? Any help for a rookie is much appreciated!
