hello. I know this is such a simple question but how do you get the signal to go through once you connect your keyboard synth to your laptop through ableton? I watched the tutorials and clicked on everything i needed to but there is still no sound. Is there something i need to do in the midi setup page? i see my keyboard connected to ableton but yet, not sound.

I cant seem to get my song loud enough in ableton. any tips? I dont want to clip or distort any of my levels. I tried putting a compressor and limiter on the master chain but its still not loud enough compared to other house songs.
