This seems trivial B UT - Is there any way to set a bookmark or placeholder in the timeline in G-Band? I want to be able to just jump back to the same spot in the timeline from further out in the song. I know the looper button will repeat play to a spot, but I just want to jump to a spot without starting play. Seems so simple there should be this feature.

Joe - Thanks a lot! Now I know I'm not crazy or missing something. I just upgraded to 10.3.4 and am still trying to figure out a few things. Two other problems I've discovered so far: 1 - I follow all the instructions for using flex time to stretch audio file notes. If I try to elongate a guitar chord for example, the flex feature just splits the wave where I place it and segments it instead of stretching it! Not working like the GB video show. 2 - I open the tempo track to adjust the tempo of full project. I have all tracks checked to follow tempo. When applied, it seems there are some tracks that do not synch. A mess! Is there any way to change the tempo of an entire project? You're a great resource - thanks!

Joe has been a huge help - thanks! As I use this new version (for me) I find new things I don't know! - How do you mark the STOP point at the end of a song? The old version had a left-facing arrow in the timeline that you could slide to any point you wanted playback to stop scrolling. I don't see it in this version. In play mode, the tracks just keep advancing well after the last recorded section as ended. - Quick check - When you join sections of a track where you have deleted some areas, it DOES join them with the proper timing, right? (Won't move the separated sections around?) - Is there any guide that explains what each of the many effects does and how/when to use them? Would be an incredible book for someone to publish if not already! Thanks! T

Thanks again Joe. I found the arrow - it was just hard to grab without something else popping up! Of course, as I go deeper I have new questions for you. Is there any way to delete the 100's of loops that I do not want? I can't find where they are stored on my iMac so I can delete individual ones. Is there a way to add in a measure of odd time, say 5/4 in a 4/4 song, when using the Drummer feature, and still keep the drummer on beat at the start of each measure. Do I just have to create a new track for that one measure? I have recorded some external sounds and transferred them to my Mac as WAV files. How can I get them in G-Band and use them as sampled sounds? I still have not found the "AU Sampler" that is supposedly in the app. How do you get to it? Thanks so much for your help!

I've tried everything! Converted them to MP3, tried to drag from iTunes, dragged from desktop, - they will not import into the media browser. I was able to create a file for them there, but still no go. I saw a video where it indicated I should see at the top of the Media Browser 3 tabs: Audio, Movies, and "All FIles". I do not have the "All Files" tab, and that's the one they recommend importing files from. Also tried dragging them directly from Finder. no luck. I am trying to get some externally recorded .wav sample files into the browser for use in G-band. Thanks for your help!

Once you've completed an entire song, s/w and analog tracks, is there any way to change the key of the entire project and still have it sound normal?

Can the "Drummer" track be used as a groove track? I try to set it as such and it doesn't work. It sets the s/w track below it as the groove.

Hi Joe. Yes - that's what i am attempting to do, using the configure window. It will not star the drummer track. I must have some sort of glitch in the program.
