Hello! I was wondering if there are anyone left interested in acoustic instruments. These tutorials are great and the teachers are true masters, but there is very little info on dealing with such instruments like brass, strings, woodwinds and piano. It would be great to have a tutorial on how to clean up and enhance the sound of those instruments, how to bring the best out of them, how to use reverb on different instruments in a group, in other words how to create an awesome mix. Anyone who recorded acoustic instruments and classical voices knows how hard it is to make it sound natural. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks, Alex Siniavski

Hello, Is there a way to remove metadata from Logic bounce? Its a text track with tempo and other data. I am trying to use PluralEyes plugin with FCP and PluralEyes support person says that this track is causing the problem. I am trying to synchronize a track created and edited in Logic 9 with video footage and getting an error message from PluralEyes. I am using Logic 9, FCP 7 and Canon 7d.

i just tried to compress a 190 MB Final Cut Movie file for the YouTube upload using the setting suggested by Michael Wohl in his tutorial and I am getting much bigger files on the output - about 1 gig. what am I doing wrong?

Hi Rounik, I tried to do it two ways. First, I selected a part of sequence from FCP, I/O. Then I went to Export - Using Compressor. Then I created Custum setup and typed in what Michael Wohl suggested. The movie is 16 minutes long. Second way, I just made a FCP Movie out of that segment and repeated the steps. BTW, I could not find the YouTube setups downloads anywhere on the Compressor 101 page as Michael tells in his lesson 45. Thanks, Alex

Hello, When I try to export to Quicktime as a reference movie, meaning leaving make movie self-content unchecked, the FCP still creates a huge file and it takes forever to create it. The movie is about 6-7 mins, and the raw footage takes about 2 gigs, but the output quicktime is 9gigs. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
