I really love the tutorials. One thing I would like to see more of is information related to recording and manipulating Audio. Midi predominates the tutorial info. I don't want any less on Midi, just more on Audio. Can you do it? (for all us guitar players!)

Great! One item I'd like to see... The MIDI soft synths in Logic are built with great balance, stereo separation and stage presence, and they all sit well in the mix with each other when you have multiple MIDI tracks. How to achieve that effect with audio input (tips on building channel strip settings to achieve similar results) and how to get the recorded audio to sit well in the mix with MIDI?

Yep - what a thoroughly enjoyable TnT. Simple (if you've kept up with the TnT series), Usable and extendable, Well presented (of course - it's Steve) (Now if we could just get the kinks worked out of the new NED. I'm staying on an older version until the new version gets stable) Thanks much!

One thing that really made this TnT so great is that Steve gave us a glimpse into his creative approach and creative tweaking while building the tabla player - rather than just showing us what is 'under the covers'. A few mistakes (we ALL make many), discussing and correcting them (not editing them out), telling us what he liked in where he was, what he wanted to improve (ahead of time), improving it in real time and creating a really great tutorial. Thanks Steve - please continue to show your creative side/approach in how you build your creations. It is invaluable.

Steve and Martin - I'm hooked. I don't think I can survive the withdrawal if there is not a TnT3. Please guys - please, please, please, please, please,........

Logic Pro 10.10.7 OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 It was working correctly before, but now when I record over an existing audio track, a new take is no longer created - the existing take is replaced, and the take folder buttons are not shown in the new take. All I can find is that Logic auto creates a new take when recording over an existing track, but this is not happening. Can anyone help?

This is now closed. In the Control Bar, there is a button with an X in it, the Replace button. This had accidentally been turned on & caused the audio recordings to be replaced, rather than creating a new take, each time a new recording was made over the existing audio file.

Ok, you've used the knowledge you've gained from all the great MPV tutorials to create what you think are a some great pieces. A tutorial on copyright would be nice about now! What it is, why get it, the different types, published material, non-published material, how to go about it, how to fill out the forms, etc., etc., etc.?

Would like to see how to get good electric guitar mix recording directly into Logic (i.e. no amp). MIDI instruments seem to have very good stereo imaging - how to get the same from electric?
