Hey, I have lots of apple loops but not all of them are in the Loop browswer. I think I need to reinstall from a clean slate. Not sure how to do that though. The other problem is the current path for most of the loops are as follows: HD/Library/Audio/Apple Loops etc. or there is another one at my home Mike/Library/Audio/Apple Loops 2 Pretty much is a mess. I saw from the training video these are supposed to be in Application support and under Garage Band. Thanks guys Let me KNOW!!! Mike

Another question for you masters of Logic: When recording with an audio instrument, for example an EXS24 piano, and am using the metronome, I am hearing not only the klopfgeis (doing its normal clicking) but also a note on the piano on each beat (in this case a low C#) . This is going on simultaneously..... very uncool. I just want to have the "knocking ghost" keeping my time, not whatever audio instrument I'm recording as well. It's actually even printing in the matrix editor as it records. Let me know the scoop and thanks so very much again, Mike

Christian~ So I went to the clic and ports layer and actually checked all the layers in the environment and I could not find the metronome clic object. The path in my clic and ports is as follows A big grey section called Physical input going to a keyboard that is labeled Input Notes going to a smaller square called Input view and finally to a small brown square called to Recording & Thru Mike

Hey guys, Ok Audio Instrument: Factory Insert: 08 Guitars: Dig Delays I am really digging this pre-made insert but I have a problem. When I am holding down a chord and letting it sustain, there are these clicks and pops that are happening. It sounds almost like it is clipping, but all my meters look ok. I must be missing something and you guys are the best at figuring it out. Thanks so much again. Mike

Yeah I was running it at 64 and so I moved it to 128 worked I'm using a Mac Pro 2.66 Dual Core with Intel and 5 GB of RAM, shouldn't that be able to run that 64 I/O buffer? Or what else can I do to get that back up there? Or, haha, is it even that big of a deal in the first place? :) Mike

Hey guys, So I'm sure this is a common question but here is the scenario. I know the higher the sampling rate the better the quality of audio, but if it is going to eventually be bounced at 44.100khz for a cd, is it still worth working at a higher sampling rate. I'm a producer in Hollywood working with pop/rock production and I would love your feedback. Thanks, M

Hey guys, One other question while I'm here. Is there any way in Logic to put a "ceiling" on the velocity. So for example, if I'm playing a brass ensemble audio instrument and I want the velocity to only go as high as 104, NO MATTER HOW HARD I HIT THE CONTROLLER. I think the max is usually like what, 127 or something. If you could answer that riddle, you are my hero for life. I obviously know how to do it post performance, but if it could be done, like a limiter, that would be awesome. Thanks, Mike
