Hi Rounik, I already could assign parameters to my radium. I don't know why it wasn't working yesterday, but I just opened logic right now and tried again, and it finally worked out. The only plugin I can't still assign to my controller is one of the "eastwest", but it probably has its own way to do it, as with the omnispehere, so i'll check the manual out. Hi All, I'm back again with more questions. I want to record the midi output of my instrument into logic. I already created an external track, and I'm getting midi data and sound, but not real audio routed to the master track, so when I bounce it there's no sound. Also, is it possible to use the midi data from the external instrument the same way as with a software instrument? Let's say, to add effects... I would appreciate your help. Hi All, I am working on a session in Logic, and I am trying to convert my midi regions into audio files, but whenever I do that by choosing exporting from the menu, all midi regions increase in volume even when I have them really low before doing the conversion. If I try bouncing each of the tracks separately it works, but takes longer, and I want to be able to take advantage of converting all regions to audio files at once. Any suggestions? Hey Rounik, Thanks for your help. Yes, I did what you said. I took all the effects and dynamics from the output strip, and any automation, but it doesn't seem to take the changes 'cause it behaves the same way when converting to audio regions. Then, I open a whole new session and tried to do this without putting any effects on the tracks and worked great. Is there any way to get rid completely of the effects on my first session? Fvs

Well, I did all of that... removing effects from the channel strips, and/or bypassing and deleting track automation, but when converting to audio they still get affected by these parameters. thanks, Fvs

Hi Guys, I am recently recording some music, but whenever it comes to master the final tracks I've always had a hard time trying to figure out what are the best tools to use. I can never make my tracks sound as loud as the ones on a commercial CD. I've tried different presets with no success. Do you have any suggestions on this? What do you think of the mastering tools that come with Logic? I've heard many people have used them and get excellent tracks. It's not my case though... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Just have one more question regarding Logic 9. I want to buy this new version, but I was wondering if I have to uninstall logic 8 and all contents in order to install this new version. Hey guys, I'm having trouble when importing MIDI tracks into logic from sibelius and trying to change automation parameters. For instance, whenever I want to change volume on any track in logic it seems to work, but then when starting playback again from the beginning it jumps out to where the original parameters were before. I tried to export these tracks from sibelius as midi tracks type 0 or 1, but none of them allows me to do that. Have any of you come across the same issue? Any ideas? Thanks!

Just figured it out! I deleted automation parameters on the hyper editor window and now it's working : ) Thanks anyway!
