I can't even express how much the tutorial has helped. just thought i'd say. One thing to work on, in the anchors section, you never actually clearly explain what they do like "this is where the sample will start" I had to sort of figure that out on my own. either way amazing.
now on to the point of my thread::!:~~
So lets say I have a beat the way I want it, and it is at 120 BPM. Then I sample something, like a guitar riff, I won't know what tempo I am at obviously (yet). How do I adjust the tempo of the riff to match that of the beat without changing the pitch to be higher or lower? Like I want it to sound like the guitar player is just playing the same riff but faster. Is that possible even?
I am still working out the best ways to adjust tempo when working with samples, I feel the key lies in Anchors...
