Thanks Christian! Tonight I was reading the manual as I was recording a session. I'm getting it, but it is a little confusing. I found that if I turn on the "replace" function, Logic 8 acts a lot more line Logic 7. That helps me in the short term while I'm learning the new way of doing things. I'll keep at it. Thanks again! Can someone please tell me how to create a headphone mix for the musicians that I'm recording? Is it possible to create individual mixes for each musician? How do you do that? I await your reply. Thanks, Eddie

Headphone mix update Hi Christian, I followed your instructions and everything seemed to work fine. I got a 3/4 output to show a signal, but I don't hear anything in the headphones. I missing a step. Can you tell me what that might be? Thanks, Eddie

I'm sorry... I'm a little confused. What is a "headphone aux channel"? Is that in the software or is it part of hardware. I know that's probably a dumb question, but I'll have to disassemble my workstation to get the to wires in the back if it's hardware. Thanks, Eddie

I just read in the Logic 8 "late breaking news" document that the Apple remote can control Logics play, stop, record (etc.) functions. I've got an Apple romote, but it doesn't seem to work. Were do I point it? Is there some trick to this? It would be very cool if it worked. Please let me know if anyone has had success with the Apple reomte. Thanks, Eddie
