DVD SP or something else?
I am a brand new Mac/FCP user and I recently purchased FCP 6. I went through all 600+ pages of the Apple Pro Training Series book and LOVED learning all new editing techniques. Now I am feeling a little overwhelmed on what to do next??? My wife and I have mastered iMovie and iDVD (not very difficult :) which is why we have upgraded to FCP. 1. Which ap should I learn next? DVD Pro? Motion? Yikes! Right now, I am just trying to edit sporting events, family wedding etc, but would like it to look professional. 2. what is the best way to learn? Are there free tutorials online, or do I need to purchase something? I am a visual learner, so it would be better if I had a dvd tutorial vs. just a book. Sorry for the long post.

Hi scottygolfer77, You've come to right place fo the best Mac tutorials on the web ;-) You can check them all out here: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorials/ Each tutorial has sample videos so you can get a sense of what is offered. If editing is your main concern then FCP and Motion are the way to go. Of course topics such as Compression and DVD Studio Pro could also prove essential depending on what medium you need to deliver your final film on. Let us know if you need any more help and of course feel free to read through the reviews for the tutorials too to help you make an informed decision. Best Rounik
