PDF files in Final cut pro and sharpness
Hi all, I'm working on an animation movie with static pdf files in the background. Now, when exporting the whole project as quicktime movie file, it seems that the background looses sharpness. I tried a lot, changing pdf's to jpeg, other formats etc.. but the sharpness is not there anymore. My question is, is there something in Final cut that i can use to make my movies looking more brilliant . Thanks in advance Jim Bannockx

If you are exporting to a DV file, QuickTime is probably displaying the files at a lower quality ... it's an irritating thing in QT, and no doubt. If this is the case, you can fix it by opening the file in QT, and pressing Command-J to open the movie properties window. Select the video track, and then visit the visual settings pane ... then click the High Quality checkbox in the bottom right corner. If everything now looks good, your sorted! if not, there are other issues. but start there.
