    video pixelation
Have created DVD with DVDSP and there are a few points in the video where I'm getting pixelation on just part of the image. What is causing this please?

Hi funky cold when do you first notice the pixelation, in FCP, in DVDSP in simulation mode or in the final DVD? What compression codec are you using? Which part of the image is pixelated? How are you playing the DVD? On your mac or a separate DVD player? Rounik

Thanks for your response Rounik. It shows up in the final dvd on the computer and on tv monitor via set top dvd player. It's a wedding ceremony video and it shows up at a couple of points on the bride's face for several seconds. No real movement of the subject. Exported to Compressor once at one pass and also a two pass export. Pixelation shows on both. Other settings: SD DVD stream output,Mpeg 2 file format, 16:9 aspect, progressive field dominance. Maximum bit rate: 7.5 Frame controls:On, Output fields: Progressive
