    Problem Exporting
Hi guys, I am new to this forum and only found it because I am having a problem in Final Cut Pro that I cannot find any information on. I believe that the closest solution came from this board. I hope that one of you will be kind enough to help a grad student overcome an obstacle that is preventing him from finishing his thesis. Basically the problem is as follows: I have fully completed my video which is around 8 minutes long. I have tried to export it using Quicktime conversion so that I can convert it into an MP4 file using the H.264 codec. Once I click on export using Quicktime conversion, the render bar on top of the timeline goes red. If I try to continue to export, the time to completion never get past 0%. I am at a loss and you are really my only hope. Thank you Dan

Hi ConanDan, It might be a little late to troubleshoot this one with you, but if you're still looking for help can you tell me if this happens with any other settings, or just H264? Also, have you tried using "Export QuickTime Movie", or using Compressor at all?
