    Drop Frames
Hey. im working with 7d footage.. i have converted my files to apple pro res LT and proxy... i have a brand new 17'' mac book pro. hard drive 7200 rpm 4gb memory 2.8 Ghz core i7 and the most recent final cut studio all bought recently. however with both proxy files and LT apple pro res files i keep getting drop frames constantly. when i try working off my hardrive on my computer.. and with my Western digital Fire Wire 800 drive.. i always get drop frames.. even with pal DV footage shot of a pd170 i get drop frames... But for my canon material my easy set up is : apple pro res format: apple pro res 422 use : custom set up the footage im working with is NTSC 1280 by 720 60p my sequence settings are the default of what FCP sets it too when i drop the files in. i feel like i tried EVERYTHING i would really appreciate help at this point. thanks
