    video monitor
I have a JVC Everio HD videocam and a Macbook Pro with OS 10.6... Is there a way that I can use the laptop screen as a video monitor instead of the little screen on the camera? I'm working on music videos and want the person in front of the camera to be able to see more clearly what I'm doing while I'm doing it... :) -Al

Hi Al Dobko, Not familiar with your camcorder. Does it connect to your MBP via Firewire? You could then connect it up to your MBP and record directly to disc using Quicktime Pro or something similar... this should display the contents you're capturing directly on the MBP's screen. Hope it helps R
