    Codec for WMP 9
I am trying to make a video and my client only has the stock codecs for Windows Media Player 9 and is unable to download any other codecs nor update his Windows Media Player. What codec can I use that will be readable by his PC? I originally saved the file as an .AVI with M-PEG 4 encoding but that isn't working.

Hi Tim, Your client can download Quicktime Player for Windows for free. That might be the better option. I have to get it in a form that can work with the stock codecs, getting the IT department in his company to allow him to install even quicktime. I tried out Flip4Mac and when using their codec, my video ended up being only 30 seconds in length. I am trying by exporting as an AVI right now. Will let you know if that works or not. Thanks for your help!
