    final cut x
    I moved a few older final cut x projects/events to a backup drive Now I would like to access them but final cut does not see it on my hd. How can I get access again?

    They must be inside root level folders called "Final Cut Events" and "Final Cut Projects" of a hard drive. The exception is your system drive and then those two folders are inside your Movies folder. If they are anywhere else, FCP X won't see them. Always move Events and Project from within FCP X if you want them to always be seen, even on a backup drive. Here's a great product you may want to check out.
