    Annoying Orange effect in FCPX
Was looking for a way to super-impose moving eyes and lips on a still shot, much like the Annoying Orange. I can get one moving object, but not multiples. I can only find older FCP 7 tutorials on this subject. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Todd

I'm not familiar with the Annoying Orange, but if you have an FCP 7 tutorial, it should be very easy to duplicate the same thing in FCP X. If you give me a link to that tutorial, I could "translate" it for you. Basically, you're just stacking clips on top of each other, applying a mask to the upper clips (mouth, eyes) with a little bit of feathering. Actually, I'd do it in Motion, as you can customize and keyframe the masks better there. We just published a free tutorial in the HUB about this very thing, "Animating Shape Masks In Motion".
