    Audio Plug-in Scanning Issue
Hi there FC7 user here, and when I launch FC7 it goes through and scan plug-ins like it should. But it brings up a search for a plug-in for something that I thought I deleted from my computer, and it is asking me to search for it, so I hit cancel on the first window it brings up, then another window comes up and I hit ok, and sometimes it clears it, and sometimes it doesn't. Is there some way to avoid FC7 from even scanning this audio plug-in?

what plug-in is it? I assume it's in AU format? Have you checked the main and user level folders for "components" (where audio units are stored).?

I would contact Native Instruments support and ask them if they have either an UPDATE for this plugin to make it work properly (let them know your OS version and FCP 7 version), or an uninstaller to remove it.
