I'm working with an OS X Version 10.8.4. Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 8GB 1600 MHz. I'm experiencing long delays concerning the issue I stated in the "Subject". Rendering and Exporting/Sharing. My FCPX project is 28minutes & 30seconds. Including text and a few graphic implements through out the video. Green screen as well. I used a program called Preference Manager to refresh the preference settings in FCPX. It didn't do much. This is the second project I've worked on using the recently purchased iMac Mini. The first project never had such difficulties + it had way more graphic and text editing then this one I'm having problems with. Are you on a iMac, or are you on a Mac Mini, they are two very different models. Be sure all hard drives have at least 15% of their capacity as free space. Try running Disk Utility to "repair" all drives. Turn off background rendering. Open the Background Task Monitor and see if there are other tasks going on besides rendering.
