    "remove silent channels" malfunction
I have a clip in my bin for which FCPX is not recognizing the audio tracks, because of a malfunction of the automatic "remove silent channels" function. The original clip inside the library has audio - is there a way to "refresh" FCPX's analysis on the file so that I can simply proceed with my project? In the past (way back in 10.1.4) I had a similar problem where FCPX decided it was not going to import a file properly, and after several rounds (*days*) I ended up transcoding the file to some other format (using Adobe Media Encoder) and then reimporting it - wasted time and loss of quality on that one. Is there a way perhaps to manipulate the qt file so that FCPX doesn't recognize it as a clip it has already seen, without having to transcode? Thanks!
