compression programs for DV clips from imovie
Hi, I have clips I've pulled from downloading my DV video camera shots to my computer into imovie and then dragging the short clips to the desktop. I want to make these clips compressed enough so that i can email them to my friends. What program can I use to save quality, but compress the DV clips I moved to my desktop, into files that are small enough to send by email (or even post on youtube)? thanks

The easiest way is to get a QuickTime Pro license ... i think it's around 24 dollars, but once you have it, you can encode video to MPEG-4, H.264, and several other codecs ... just chose File > Export and go from there!
