    where are the files????
i captured a bunch of raw footage from mini dv and it took up a ton of my disk space. i'm done with that project and want to clean up my disk, but i can't find the files! i erased them from "clips" tab, but they are still on my computer somewhere. i have done several searches in my spotlight but they don't show up anywhere. i have looked all over my mac for the capture scratch folder, but i can't find it anywhere. PLEASE help me. thanks a lot

Hi richy rich & welcome to the forums, I assume you are talking about iMovie 6 HD? Did you save your project file when you imported the footage? iMovie saves the clips you import in the file. Select the file on your HD and choose File > Get Info. If you really want to delete it you can either drag it to Trash or ctrl-click on the file and select "show package contents". Navigate and find the movie files. Cheers Rounik
