Sending iMovie Project to YouTube
Hello everyone, I sent an iMovie project to YouTube yesterday, and it has now been about 11 hours since I sent it, and it says, "The user doesn't have any videos at this time." My question is: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEND IT TO YOUTUBE???? And how to I check to make sure that I've followed the right steps in sending it to YouTube? Thanks a lot. riftmazefee

Hi Jodie, It normally takes a few minutes to view it on YouTube. Can you outline the steps you took, esp. from exporting from iMovie to uploading to YouTube. Cheers Rounik

Heh Rounik, Man, you're a master of everything, eh! COOL! Dude, I followed the steps laid out by Fransceso in his iMovie08 tutorial. Thanks. Jodie

Master of everything? Not yet... world domination is on my "to do" list ;-)) ...but in the meantime I spend my time training others in iLife, iWork, OS X and Logic :-) Glad it's all working for you! Rounik

Heh Rounik, I got the video into YouTube, but I notice that the QUALITY of the video is different than my iMovie08 project (worse in YouTube). Is that just a conversion problem between iMovie08 and YouTube? Thanks man. Jodie p.s. Check it out: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=9RzSBaw2xY4 p.s.s. The quality sucks, but the audio is ok:)

Hi Jodie It's all about compression! It difficult to know what the original quality of the video is like in iMovie.... but YouTube doesn't ever IMHO give the best quality... There are ways of optimising video for YouTube. Watch the iMovie 08 video carefully and the Compressor tutorial too" http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorial/compressor3101 Nice song. Also, consider another video sharing site like: http://www.vimeo.com/ The quality is much better than YouTube! Cheers Rounik
