Converting a .ppt or .ppt.mov file to DVD? ? ?
Okay, so I'm trying to figure out how to convert a PowerPoint file to DVD file. I converted my PowerPoint file into a .mov file and it plays on QuickTime. When I go to iDVD to create a project it will not let me select that particular file. Is there any way at all I can convert this PowerPoint into a file that will play in any DVD player (us format)? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried creating a presentation in iMovie, but it will not allow you to insert large amounts of text (which would serve as closed captioning) like you could on a PowerPoint program. Ideally, I would like to open the PowerPoint presentation converted to a .mov file (that works with iDVD and iMovie) with iMovie, add voice overs, and the open that file with iDVD and create a DVD file.

Hi mjsanter, Welcome to the forums! Have you tried importing the PowerPoint movie file into iMovie and exporting it from there. Then import into iDVD. Do let us know the version of iMovie and iDVD you are using and version of OSX. Also what codec did PP export the .mov file as? Thanks Rounik
