    beginner questions: video interface, etc.
I am (after several years of putting it off) finally going to transfer many years worth of home videos (Hi-8 format) to DVD using (hopefully) my Mac pro and either iMovie or iDVD as a production platform. My Mac pro is about 3 years old and is running OS 10.5.6. My first issue is a good video capture interface that will accommodate the analog RCA jacks from my camcorder. Any suggestions for a good budget interface? I have looked initially at the Roxio VHS to DVD package. Anyone with any experience using one? Will this product work ok with my Mac via the USB port? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
